Jeez...I haven't been here in a WHILE.

Currently: bored at work. I don't want to do anything and there's only 3 weeks (11.5 business days) left until I go back to Ohio. So in celebration I'm planning on buying Photoshop CS3 before the summer's over. Just got to pay some bills first. And then I can finally get back to drawing.

I don't have anything on my computer right now for art, which is very sad. The Photoshop Elements 3 (eeewwww) that I had on my last computer is Microsoft-only software so I couldn't install it on my MacBook. I probably wouldn't have, anyway. The program was being shitty. Seriously, I'd try to blend some skin tones together and suddenly the tool would go multi-colored and the skin would turn all sorts of blacks, blues, greens, yellows, and reds. Suffice to say, it was incredibly annoying. And my friend who has the same program said that her's does it, too.

Also sadly, I can't find anyone to chip in with me to buy CS3. I can get it for $300 (not including tax and shipping) with my student discount. So if you're interested, have a Mac computer, and are willing to shell out approximately $150 for an awesome Photoshop, give me a call.

Or better yet, E-mail me because I got a new phone complete with new number. And I'm very excited for that, too, 'cause it's the new iPhone 3G and works AMAZINGLY! Except that now I'm paying for my own phone bills and whatnot, which is not cheap. Clearly I'm becoming an avid Apple girl. Proof: my friend recommended that I just wait to get CS3 until I know whether or not I can use my Michigan Merit award on the software (considering I can't use it for my actual college education since I don't go to a Michigan school - those government bastards). But I'm lazy and don't want to wait. So if I'm not in Mexico next summer, I'm hoping to invest the award money in an iMac with a large monitor, a drawing tablet(priority after CS3), and classes to learn the program at Kendall or GRCC.
